Energy Optimization

Energy optimization is a form of energy efficiency that can be done without any upfront costs by making small changes to operating procedure.

Why It Matters

There are several ways to lower building energy costs besides costly, unnecessary upgrades. Only operate your buildings when necessary; there is no reason to light, cool, or heat the building is unoccupied. Next, you need to reassess what it means to turn your building “off”. Is there anything that runs at night that doesn’t need to? These changes for energy optimization can lead to 8-20% savings.
