Flow Meter

Flow meters are used to collect information about the consumption of physical resources moving through a pipe, like water, gas, or steam. The main types of flow meter are in-line, insertion, and ultrasonic.

Why It Matters

Flow meters collect consumption data which, in a commercial building, can then be sent to energy management software. Water, gas, and steam often account for a significant portion of a building’s utility budget.
