Freeze Protection

Freeze protection is the practice of heating an unoccupied building overnight to prevent damage caused freezing temperatures.

Why It Matters

Older buildings with poor insulation are prone to equipment freezing, so freeze protection is an important focus during the winter. With good energy management software, you can see the current and forecasted outdoor temperature, so when the temperature is going to drop drastically you can keep the building running to avoid freezing.
