Mesh Network

A wireless mesh network (WMN) is a communications network made up of radio nodes organized such that each is connected to as many other nodes as possible. It is also a form of wireless ad hoc network. Wireless mesh networks often consist of mesh clients, mesh routers, and gateways.

Why It Matters

Wireless is the ideal approach for retrofitting existing buildings and connecting new buildings where a lack of cable pathways is an issue or impediment. Mesh networks provide low cost reliability and simplicity in providing a cloud-based data connection.
