Retrocommissioning

Retrocommissioning is the process of identifying inefficient areas in a building and then making adjustments to improve performance. It is particularly applicable in older buildings.

Why it Matters

Retrocommissioning requires replacing old and inefficient equipment; often, this is prohibitively expensive. Now, continuous commissioning is recommended to make sure building equipment is running efficiently.
