Daniele Horton, Founder and President, Verdani Partners
MS, AIA, MDes, LEED Fellow, LEED AP O+M, CalBRE, CEM
Daniele Horton brings over 20 years of experience in corporate sustainability, corporate, fund and asset-level ESG strategy, real estate and project management. Daniele is a licensed architect, a Certified Energy Manager and a LEED Fellow. She was named one of the “Top 10 Most Powerful Women in Sustainability” in 2014 and a USGBC Shero for Purpose in 2020.
Daniele currently leads the Verdani Partners team in sustainability efforts for 11 national and international real estate firms with over 4,000 properties managed across 720 Million SF of diversified real estate portfolios, representing nearly $350 Billion AUM. Verdani is an industry leader in climate change mitigation strategies and resilience planning, addressing risk assessment across 70+ indicators, developing resilience plans, implementing emergency preparedness measures and reporting climate-related financial disclosures. In addition, Verdani consults on green and healthy building strategies and certifications, portfolio efficiency programs, and specialized ESG and sustainability communications and annual reporting.
Rae Celestine-Honore, Aquicore Senior Building Systems Engineer
Rae Celestine-Honore is a professionally licensed mechanical engineer with over 15 years of experience in energy conservation and sustainability, particularly in buildings. She is a LEED Accredited Professional with a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Howard University and a certification in energy management from the University of Florida.
Rae currently leads Aquicore’s team of Building Systems Engineers, who provide technical expertise for over 1,000 commercial properties managed across more than 275 million square feet nationwide.
Anna Buglaeva, Aquicore VP of Customers
Anna Buglaeva is Aquicore’s Vice President of Customers, overseeing complex enterprise software deployments for commercial real estate portfolios nationwide. With a deep understanding of industry needs and challenges, she works closely with Aquicore’s product team to deliver a best-in-class experience for Aquicore customers at every stage of their journey. As a founding member of Aquicore, she helped drive a nationwide expansion to over 275 million square feet of commercial assets.
